Traditional Anesthesia Service
We deliver our services to our #1 customer, IU Health. You will primarily see us at IU Health Methodist Hospital, IU Health West Hospital, IU Health North Hospital, IU Health Saxony Hospital, Beltway Surgery Center, Eagle highland Surgery Center, Senate Street Surgery Center, and several others. We deliver our services with top quality medical judgment and patient safety in mind with a human touch.
Cardiovascular Anesthesia
Our section consists of eleven board certified anesthesiologists committed to the highest level of perioperative care for patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular and thoracic transplant procedures. Our section members work throughout all of ACIs locations but, most of our cardiovascular service is centered within IU Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis.
Chronic Pain Management
Anesthesia Consultants of Indianapolis (ACI) has two chronic pain specialists who perform interventional procedures for patients struggling with chronic pain that is not responding to conservative management.
Acute Pain Service
ACI’s section on Acute Pain Management includes board certified physicians who have spent extra time and training on techniques designed to improve your comfort before, during and after surgery.
Neuro-Anesthesia
The anesthesiologists specialize in complicated neurosurgical procedures and those requiring anesthetic adjustments to maximize the benefit of special intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring, imaging guidance, intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging modalities and Neurotrac-compressed EEG monitoring for complex intracranial vascular procedures.
Obstetrical Anesthesia
Our subspecialty provides 24/7 365 days per year in hospital coverage to the labor and delivery units of Indiana University Health (IUH) Methodist, West and North Hospitals. We administer anesthetics to the 6800 pregnant women who deliver their infants at the three obstetrical units.
Pediatric Anesthesia
Our group currently has two board certified, fellowship trained pediatric anesthesiologists, in addition to a multitude of other anesthesiologists with years of clinical experience in providing anesthetic services to the pediatric population.
